Job Description
My client is now looking to recruit an experienced Class 1 skilled Fabricator / Plater. The Fabricator/Plater will be responsible for performing a variety of fabricating and welding activities to support the manufacturing facility using Carbon, Stainless Steels & High Nickel Alloys. This is a permanent full-time role and offers a competitive salary. You will need to have a strong understanding of processes and materials to fulfil delivery of Flare Tips, Power Burner, Process Burners, Skids, and Pressure Vessel fabrications. Your ability to interpret engineering drawings to determine materials and cutting lists as well as planning task sequences will be crucial. Key to this role will be your ability to determine priorities to ensure continuous workflow between disciplines, ultimately achieving target dates and on-time delivery.
As Fabricator / Plater, you will carry out and tack up fabrications accurately, safely, and to consistent levels of finish to the set quality standards as determined by contract specifications. The Fabricator/Plater will be required to understand the Quality Assurance system for materials entry, follow welding procedures, and fabrication drawings. Experience with producing products compliant within a Quality System (ISO9001:2015) is essential.
