Job summary

Masstemps Ltd are recruiting a Press Operator for a busy sheet metal manufacturer in the Telford area. The successful candidate will work in a busy production environment, supporting the manufacturing process and ensuring high quality outputs.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 5:15pm with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. A press machinery role with linishing and drilling/tapping duties in a well-established company offers stable, long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a sheet metal manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential).
• Previous manufacturing or engineering experience.
• Press Brake experience (Desirable not essential)

Responsibilities

• Operating press machinery safely and efficiently.
• Linishing finished metal components.
• Carrying out drilling and tapping duties.
• Loading and unloading machinery.
• General labouring and production support.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
