Job summary

MTS Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker in Feltham, West London. This permanent role offers a 37-hour week with a competitive salary and long-term stability in a growing manufacturing environment.

You will work from engineering drawings to produce high-quality sheet metal components, with responsibilities including setting CNC press brakes, interpreting drawings, and bending to specification under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker.
• Ability to set and operate CNC press brakes.
• Strong drawing interpretation skills.
• Experience working out developments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience working with aluminium and stainless steel.
• TIG welding experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC press brakes.
• Manufacture precision sheet metal components from engineering drawings.
• Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Work out flat pattern developments.
• Bend and fold sheet metal to specification.
• Work with aluminium and stainless steel.
• Assemble products, including mechanical fittings.
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
• Work with minimal supervision.
