Job summary

Stafflex are recruiting for a Powder Coat Sprayer in Huddersfield. This temp-perm role suits someone with powder coating experience in sheet metal/manufacturing environments. Basic tasks include surface preparation, spraying, and quality checks.

You will follow job cards, prepare surfaces, and ensure correct coating is applied, with loading/unloading on coating lines. Monday to Thursday shift, £13.50 per hour, on-site work with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Previous powder coating experience, preferably in sheet metal/manufacturing.
• Ability to read job cards and interpret basic engineering drawings.
• Strong eye for detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sheet metal components for powder coating, including cleaning and surface prep.
• Operate powder coating spray guns and related equipment.
• Follow job cards to ensure correct powder coating is applied.
• Quality check and perform touch-ups as required.
• Load and unload products safely onto coating lines or trolleys.

Stafflex are currently recruiting for a Powder Coater to join a large sheet metal company based in Huddersfield. This role is a temp - perm opportunity and would be ideal for someone who has past experience doing powder coating or similar.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare sheet metal components for powder coating, including cleaning, degreasing, masking, and surface preparation.

• Operate powder-coating spray guns and associated equipment.

• Confidently follow job cards to ensure the correct powder coating is used
• Quality checking and completing any touch up's required
• Load and unload products safely onto coating lines, racks, or trolleys

Skills/ Experience

• Previous experience in powder coating, preferably within a sheet-metal or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand job cards/ basic level of interpreting engineering drawings
• Good eye for detail

Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:45pm
