Job summary

Stafflex Industrial Recruitment Limited in Huddersfield is seeking a Powder Coat Sprayer to join a large sheet metal company. This temp-perm role is ideal for someone with powder coating experience looking for a stable position.

You will prepare components, operate spray guns, follow job cards and perform quality checks. Working hours are Mon-Thu 7:00am-4:45pm, with safety and efficiency at the core of every task.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in powder coating or similar.
• Ability to understand job cards / interpret engineering drawings.
• Good eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sheet metal components for powder coating, including cleaning, degreasing, masking and surface preparation.
• Operate powder-coating spray guns and associated equipment.
• Follow job cards to ensure the correct powder coating is used.
• Quality checking and completing any touch ups required.
• Load and unload products safely onto coating lines, racks, or trolleys.

Stafflex are currently recruiting for a Powder Coater to join a large sheet metal company based in Huddersfield. This role is a temp - perm opportunity and would be ideal for someone who has past experience doing powder coating or similar.

• Confidently follow job cards to ensure the correct powder coating is used.
• Quality checking and completing any touch up's required.
• Load and unload products safely onto coating lines, racks, or trolleys.

Skills/ Experience:

• Previous experience in powder coating, preferably within a sheet-metal or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand job cards/ basic level of interpreting engineering drawings.
• Good eye for detail.
