Job summary

Pertemps Wolverhampton Temps is recruiting a Powder Coater for a client in Wolverhampton, working Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 14:00. This full-time role pays £13.00 to £14.00 per hour.

You will prepare and coat components for the automotive and aerospace sectors, operating a powder coating booth and hand-spraying parts to a precise finish. You will load/unload the booth, spray parts, prepare surfaces, and ensure finished products meet quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join our client’s busy manufacturing operation, specialising in batch powder coating for automotive and aerospace components.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing and powder coating a variety of components to a high standard.

• Loading and unloading the powder coating booth
• Hand spraying components using powder coating equipment
• Preparing parts for coating
• Ensuring finished products meet the required quality standards
• Handling and lifting components, some of which can be heavy
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health & safety procedures

About You

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience in powder coating , particularly within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

• Physically fit, as the role involves regular lifting and handling of heavy parts
• Comfortable with manual work and working on your feet
• Experienced in hand spraying powder coating
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Quality-focused with good attention to detail

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 Pay: £14.00 per hour
