Job summary

Pertemps Wolverhampton and Walsall is recruiting an experienced Powder Coater to join a busy manufacturing operation specialising in batch powder coating for automotive and aerospace components.

In this role you will load and unload the powder coating booth, hand spray components, prepare parts for coating, check finished products for quality, and keep a clean, safe working environment while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in powder coating within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Physically fit due to regular lifting and handling of heavy parts.
• Reliable and punctual, able to work independently or in a team.

Location: Pertemps Client

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00

Pay Rate: £13.00 to £14.00 per hour

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join our client's busy manufacturing operation, specialising in batch powder coating for automotive and aerospace components.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing and powder coating a variety of components to a high standard. The role will involve:

• Loading and unloading the powder coating booth
• Hand spraying components using powder coating equipment
• Preparing parts for coating
• Ensuring finished products meet the required quality standards
• Handling and lifting components, some of which can be heavy
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health & safety procedures

About You

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience in powder coating, particularly within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

You will need to be:

• Physically fit, as the role involves regular lifting and handling of heavy parts
• Comfortable with manual work and working on your feet
• Experienced in hand spraying powder coating
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Quality-focused with good attention to detail

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00

Pay: £14.00 per hour
