Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a SHE Manager to lead the Thames Water Framework team from Gerrards Cross, delivering best‑in‑class safety, health and environmental performance across regional and major STW projects.

You will implement the SHE strategy, drive cultural change at senior level, and ensure compliance with ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 while supporting operations and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree or NEBOSH Diploma in safety, health & environment subjects.
• Membership in a relevant professional institution.
• Significant practical H&S experience in construction or water sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Thames Water SHE team to provide high-quality technical and strategic support to operations.
• Implement the safety management system and ensure compliance with Kier IMS and Thames Water standards.
• Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are investigated and reported accurately.
• Conduct health and safety inspections and audits, driving continual improvements across the framework.
• Report on SHE performance to the Senior Leadership Team and provide operational support to project teams.
