Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a SHE Manager to join the Thames Water Framework, based around Gerrards Cross. You will lead the Kier Thames Water SHE Team to deliver safety, health and environmental performance across regional and major projects.

You'll implement the SHE strategy, drive cultural change, and influence at senior level while ensuring high standards of SHE responsibility across all operations. 40 hours per week with some flex where possible.

Qualifications

• Degree, NVQ or NEBOSH Diploma in Safety, Health & Environmental subjects.
• Membership in a relevant professional institution.
• Significant practical H&S experience in construction or water sectors.
• Experience managing H&S professionals and senior-level influencing.
• Full driving licence and knowledge of ISO standards (45001/14001/9001).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Thames Water SHE team to deliver best-in-class safety, health and environmental performance.
• Implement the safety management system and ensure compliance with Kier IMS and Thames Water standards.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Conduct health and safety inspections and audits, driving continual improvements across the framework.
• Report SHE performance to the Senior Leadership Team and support project teams.
