Manpower is currently seeking an interim SHE Capabilities Specialist - Digital
Work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
This is a fully remote, full-time temporary role until October 2026, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation is competitive, up to £48,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
Flexibility with working hours is required to accommodate different time zones.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be part of the SHE capability team "Zero Harm to People," focusing on Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Contractor and Construction Safety. The role involves owning digital projects, solutions, and products to enhance SHE capabilities and foster a strong SHE culture within and beyond Unilever.
Key Responsibilities:
Ownership:
- Manage digital projects, solutions, and products within the expertise platform.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for these solutions and products.
- Track progress on delivery within the scope of the expertise platform.
- Learn and understand various SHE digital systems used in Unilever, manage interactions, and implement systems effectively.
Leadership:
- Ensure timely delivery of solutions and products as per the annual plan.
- Coordinate training sessions and support users globally for successful implementation.
- Lead and support SMEs to ensure solutions function as needed.
- Promote safe behaviors, foster a learning environment, and lead by example.
- Contribute to the development of Digital Strategy and Architecture aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct organizational needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of digital tools.
- Address functional issues, recommend improvements, and ensure solutions are user-friendly and up-to-date.
Teamwork:
- Collaborate with SMEs, specialists, and users to ensure solutions meet plans.
- Foster relationships within SHE and other functions for smooth solution functionality.
- Work effectively with stakeholders outside SHE and external experts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, finance, engineering, or related fields (preferred).
- Experience in SHE, engineering, or IT.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time.
- Experience in multicultural environments.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in SHE management systems and tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and sites.
- Safety training certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus.
