Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced SHE Advisor to support a major concrete and heavy civils project on the NZT development. The role focuses on practical SHE delivery across live sites, with audits, RAMS reviews and incident investigations.

Eligible candidates will have NEBOSH Construction, CSCS and a full UK driving licence, along with strong communication and organisational skills. Attractive salary and long-term career progression offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical SHE support across live construction projects.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Promote Health, Safety and Environmental best practice.
• Review RAMS, CoSHH, PUWER, LOLER and Fire compliance.
• Deliver toolbox talks and behavioural safety briefings.
• Lead accident, incident and near miss investigations.
• Support contractor management and operational planning.
• Deliver internal SHE training where required.
• Build strong working relationships with project teams and clients.

This opportunity would suit someone with experience within heavy civils, reinforced concrete or groundworks, looking to play a key role on a nationally significant project.

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
• CSCS Card.
• Previous Health & Safety experience within Civil Engineering, Groundworks or RC Frame projects.
• Good understanding of current H&S legislation and industry best practice.
• Experience carrying out site inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

Desirable Qualifications

• IEMA or other environmental qualification.
• Temporary Works, Fire Risk or CoSHH qualifications.
• Experience delivering training or toolbox talks.
• Behavioural safety experience.
