Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD are seeking an experienced SHE Advisor to support multiple live construction projects across the North of England. This role requires hands-on safety leadership, site inspections and incident investigations to uphold high standards.

You will review RAMS and CoSHH, deliver toolbox talks, promote best practice, and build strong relationships with project teams and clients. NEBOSH Construction Certificate and CSCS are essential, with driving licence and willingness

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate is required.
• CSCS Card is required.
• Experience in Civil Engineering, Groundworks or RC Frame projects.
• Good understanding of current H&S legislation and industry best practice.
• Experience carrying out site inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Desirable: IEMA or other environmental qualification; Temporary Works, Fire Risk or CoSHH qualifications; Training delivery experience; Behavioural safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical SHE support across multiple live construction projects.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Promote Health, Safety and Environmental best practice.
• Review RAMS, CoSHH, PUWER, LOLER and Fire compliance.
• Deliver toolbox talks and behavioural safety briefings.
• Lead accident, incident and near miss investigations.
• Support contractor management and operational planning.
• Deliver internal SHE training where required.
• Build strong working relationships with project teams and clients.
