Job summary

BNY Pershing, based in Manchester, is seeking a Specialist, Shareholder Services to support investment processing, shareholder services and regulatory tax activities. You will investigate exceptions, ensure accurate stamp duties and reconcile payments, coordinating with internal teams and clients.

The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills and experience in securities operations, with exposure to CREST settlement and related tax processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in securities operations or financial services workloads.
• Strong ability to handle large transactional data sets with accuracy.
• Familiarity with tax obligations like SDRT, stamp duties and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and process transaction tax information across the trade lifecycle.
• Support SDRT and Stamp Duty treatment on UK and Irish transactions.
• Investigate SDRT/Stamp Duty exceptions and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare SDRT/Stamp Duty reclaim submissions and process payments.
• Maintain records and ensure regulatory/operational controls.
