Job summary

Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics is seeking an on-site engineer based in Cumbria to set out engineering and building works, ensuring quality standards are met within a strong safety culture. You will supervise materials, ensure documentation compliance, and manage digital data recording and reporting.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication, a can-do attitude, strong analytical skills, and a minimum HNC in Construction/Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HNC within Construction/Engineering.
• Strong setting-out and surveying capabilities on site.
• Analytical thinker with good interpretation of technical documents.

You'll take responsibility for the setting out of engineering and building works on site, ensuring that quality requirements/standards are met. You'll be working within a fantastic team who genuinely care about doing a great job, and always ensure that our approach to world class safety is maintained at all times.

Your role will also extend to the supervision of materials and ensuring relevant documentation is compliant alongside mapping and surveying and of course taking responsibility for the digital computation, recording and reporting of data / statistics.
