Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd is recruiting a skilled Setting Out Engineer for a Bridgend project in South Wales. Immediate start available on a long-term, on-going contract with 300-350 per day depending on experience and own equipment.

Role involves carrying out all setting out duties, establishing control points, and ensuring tolerance-compliant works on a major infrastructure site. CSCS required; own setting out gear advantageous for higher rates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer.
• Experience on civil/infrastructure projects.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Own setting out equipment advantageous (may affect rate).

Responsibilities

• Carry out all setting out duties on site.
• Establish and maintain control points.
• Ensure work meets specifications and tolerances.
• Produce as-built records.
• Interpret drawings and site documents.
• Work with site management and subcontractors.
• Support QA and resolve engineering issues.
