Job summary

Catering is seeking a Site Engineer for a 3 month contract on a civil/infrastructure project based in Brize Norton, with a strong likelihood of extension. The role offers £450–£500 per day and a 12 days on / 2 days off shift pattern (uplift for weekends).

You will be setting out and surveying works, managing QA documentation and as-built records, and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer on civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong setting-out experience.
• Competent with surveying equipment and engineering software.
• CSCS card required.
• Role prefers relevant engineering qualification.

£450 – £500 per day

Based in Oxford

12 days on / 2 days off shift pattern (uplift for weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying works
• Managing QA documentation and as-built records
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with specifications and drawings
• Supporting site management teams with technical engineering requirements
• Liaising with subcontractors and project stakeholders
• Monitoring progress and maintaining health & safety standards on site

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong setting out experience
• Competent using surveying equipment and engineering software
• CSCS card required
• Relevant engineering qualification preferred
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment

Salary: £450 – £500/day
