Job summary

Wallace Hind LLP is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer for civil housing projects in the Home Counties or Northamptonshire. You will set out and survey works on site, work with the Site Manager, and help produce and review RAMS, ITPs and RFIs, ensuring drawings and specs are followed.

Candidates should have a proven civils setting-out background, AUTOCAD proficiency, and a clean driving licence; the role offers a salary of £55k–£60k with a company vehicle and equipment, plus pension and

Qualifications

• Proven civils setting-out experience.
• Residential housing experience preferred.
• Off-site and on-site QA/QC knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works on site.
• Liaising with Site Manager and construction team.
• Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, RFIs and project docs.
• Ensuring works follow drawings, specs and procedures.
• Checking levels, dimensions and quality of works.
• Maintaining accurate site records and engineering docs.
