Job summary

Key Talent Solutions in Belfast is seeking an experienced Site / Setting Out Engineer to support a civil engineering project on site. You will work from engineering drawings, perform setting out and surveying tasks, and contribute to precast concrete works.

The role requires hands-on engineers with strong setting out and surveying skills, the ability to work independently on site, and readiness to start at short notice.

We are looking for an experienced Site / Setting Out Engineer to support a civil engineering project in Belfast.

This role would suit a hands‑on engineer with strong setting out and surveying experience, ideally with previous exposure to precast concrete works.

The role will involve:

• Setting out and surveying works on site
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Setting out associated with precast concrete works
• Carrying out surveys and as-built records
• Preparing QA/QC documentation and site records
• Liaising with site management and the wider project team
• Ensuring works are completed accurately and in line with drawings and project requirements

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer
• Strong setting out and surveying experience
• Competence using total station and surveying equipment
• Good understanding of drawings and site documentation
• Ability to work independently on site
• Availability at short notice
