Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking a Site Engineer with strong setting-out experience to join our on-site delivery teams in Bridgwater. You will take responsibility for setting out across buildings, foundations, drainage and buried services and work closely with the site team to ensure accuracy and compliance with drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate will be confident managing their own engineering activities on site, reading and interpreting drawings, and contributing to QA and as-built

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer, Setting Out Engineer or Section Engineer.
• Confidently manage on-site engineering activities and interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Setting out across buildings, foundations, drainage and buried services.
• Provide accurate engineering information to the site delivery team.
• Ensure works are constructed in accordance with drawings and specifications.

Are you a Site Engineer with strong setting-out experience looking for your next project?

We are looking for an engineer who can confidently take responsibility for setting out works across buildings, foundations, drainage and buried services.

You’ll be working closely with the site delivery team, providing accurate engineering information and ensuring works are constructed in accordance with the drawings and specification.

We’re particularly interested in Site Engineers with experience in:

• Setting out using Total Station / GPS
• Buildings and structural works
• Foundations and concrete works
• Drainage and underground utilities
• Buried services
• QA and as-built records
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Civil engineering and infrastructure projects

You should have previous experience as a Site Engineer, Setting Out Engineer or Section Engineer and be confident managing your own engineering activities on site.
