Job summary

Basingstoke College of Technology is seeking a Sessional English Lecturer to deliver inclusive and innovative teaching across English programmes within Foundation Learning, including GCSE and Functional Skills. This casual, permanent post offers flexibility and the chance to impact student outcomes directly.

You will join the English and Maths Department, work with diverse learners, and be supported by strong college-wide wellbeing and staff development initiatives. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Deliver inclusive, responsive and innovative teaching and learning on English programmes within Foundation Learning including GCSE and Functional Skills.
• Ability to produce outstanding teaching and learning to ensure learners succeed in chosen programmes.
• Requires current authorisation to work in the UK; DBS disclosure may be required.
