Job summary

Priory Hospital Ticehurst is seeking a Sessional Therapist – Alternative to join our team. This self-employed, sessional role offers flexibility around the centre’s needs and your availability, delivering one-to-one therapy either face-to-face in our clinical environment or online.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, provide assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic delivery, and benefit from Priory's established governance and referral network.

Qualifications

• Accreditation with a relevant professional body is required.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with clinical governance frameworks and digital systems.

Priory Hospital Ticehurst is seeking a Sessional Therapist – Alternative to join our team. This is a self-employed, sessional role offering flexibility around the centre’s needs and your availability.

You will deliver one-to-one therapy, supporting clients to achieve their treatment goals, either face-to‑face in our modern clinical environment or online.

What you'll bring to the role

We welcome applications from therapists able to offer one or more of the following modalities:

CBT, Integrative Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT, Family Therapy, or other specialist modalities.

You will:

• Hold professional registration with HCPC / UKCP / BABCP / BACP / NCPS / BPC / ACAT / ACP (as appropriate)
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ post‑qualification experience
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgement and excellent communication skills
• Be confident working within clinical governance frameworks, including digital systems, concise clinical notes, and attendance at risk management meetings

Accreditation with a relevant professional body is required. In certain circumstances, we may consider applicants who are working towards accreditation, provided this can be completed within 12 months of appointment.
