Job summary

Priory Hospital Altrincham is seeking a Sessional Therapist - CAMHS CBT to join our team on a self-employed, sessional basis. The role offers flexibility around centre needs and your availability, with one-to-one therapy delivered face-to-face or online.

You will contribute to assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic delivery within strong clinical governance frameworks, while enjoying a stable referral flow and Priory branding.

Qualifications

• Accreditation with a relevant professional body is required.
• Some applicants may be working towards accreditation within 12 months of appointment.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Multimodal therapy options include CBT, Integrative Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT, Family Therapy or other modalities.

Responsibilities

Priory Hospital Altrincham is seeking a Sessional Therapist - CAMHS CBT to join our team. This is a self-employed, sessional role offering flexibility around the centre’s needs and your availability.

You will deliver one-to-one therapy, supporting clients to achieve their treatment goals, either face-to-face in our modern clinical environment or online.

What you'll bring to the role

We welcome applications from therapists able to offer one or more of the following modalities (delete as appropriate):

CBT, Integrative Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT, Family Therapy, or other specialist modalities.

You will:

• Hold professional registration with HCPC / UKCP / BABCP / BACP / NCPS / BPC / ACAT / ACP (as appropriate)
• Have a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgement and excellent communication skills
• Be confident working within clinical governance frameworks, including digital systems, concise clinical notes, and attendance at risk management meetings

Accreditation:
Accreditation with a relevant professional body is required. In certain circumstances, we may consider applicants who are working towards accreditation, provided this can be completed within 12 months of appointment.
