Job summary

Priory Hospital Altrincham is seeking a Sessional Therapist – CAMHS CBT to join our private practice network as a self-employed partner. You will deliver one-to-one therapy, in-person or online, with flexible hours and a steady stream of referrals.

This role offers competitive hourly rates (£65/hr), accreditation requirements, and DBS/ regulatory checks covered by Priory. Manage your own caseload within clinical governance and enjoy hybrid working with on-site sessions when needed.

Qualifications

• Accredited psychotherapist with HCPC or equivalent (UKCP/BABCP/BACP/NCPS/BPC/ACAT/ACP) as appropriate.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Excellent clinical judgement and communication skills.
• Ability to work within clinical governance frameworks and digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one therapy with clients to achieve treatment goals.

Priory Hospital Altrincham is seeking a Sessional Therapist – CAMHS CBT to join our team. This is a self-employed, sessional role offering flexibility around the centre’s needs and your availability.

You will deliver one-to-one therapy, supporting clients to achieve their treatment goals, either face-to-face in our modern clinical environment or online.

What you'll bring to the role

We welcome applications from therapists able to offer one or more of the following modalities (delete as appropriate):

CBT, Integrative Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT, Family Therapy, or other specialist modalities.

You will:

• Hold professional registration with HCPC / UKCP / BABCP / BACP / NCPS / BPC / ACAT / ACP (as appropriate)
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgement and excellent communication skills
• Be confident working within clinical governance frameworks, including digital systems, concise clinical notes, and attendance at risk management meetings

Accreditation:

Accreditation with a relevant professional body is required. In certain circumstances, we may consider applicants who are working towards accreditation, provided this can be completed within 12 months of appointment.
