Job summary

Avacone is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, configure and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, secure implementations and deliver defined technical tasks independently while contributing to complex projects.

The role requires practical ServiceNow experience, strong JavaScript skills, ITIL/ITSM know-how, and hands-on work in Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience (2–4 years).
• Clear understanding of ITSM processes and CMDB concepts.
• Proficient in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting practices.
• Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
• Familiar with Flow Designer workflows and integration automation.
• Knowledge of CMDB data quality and CSDM foundations.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and strong problem-solving.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow solutions aligned to requirements and platform standards.
• Translate functional needs into technical specifications.
• Create and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
• Configure workflows and automate processes using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
• Develop and enhance scoped applications and platform capabilities.
• Implement integrations via REST/SOAP, MID Server, and data imports.
• Ensure access controls meet security requirements.
• Support ITSM processes, CMDB data quality, and CSDM alignment.
• Perform functional testing, defect resolution, and release support.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and platform improvement.
• Participate in sprint planning and technical reviews.
• Maintain documentation and share knowledge within the team.
