Job Role:

Perform inspection, servicing, repairs, and testing of vehicles professionally and safely, adhering to manufacturer standards and timeframes, ensuring an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose vehicle faults and interpret repair instructions and technical information.
  • Plan work and order parts to ensure prompt vehicle readiness.
  • Perform servicing and repairs according to manufacturer standards, using appropriate protection and resources.
  • Coordinate any specialized work with the Workshop Supervisor/Controller.
  • Accurately document faults and work performed for service records.
  • Follow health and safety procedures, including the use of protective equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow warranty procedures and record work accurately.
  • Assist and supervise apprentices as needed, ensuring quality checks before release.
  • Return exchanged parts to the Parts department.
  • Carry out MOT testing and complete all required documentation.
  • Recover damaged vehicles as instructed.
Work Pattern:

This is a full-time position:

  • Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
  • Saturdays on a 1-in-3 rota, 08:00 – 13:00
Candidate Requirements:
  • Full UK driving license with no major endorsements.
  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with premium brands is essential.
  • MOT Testing Certificate is advantageous.
  • Enthusiastic, respectful, and friendly to guests and colleagues.
  • Positive attitude and passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.
  • High integrity and drive to succeed.
