Are you looking to develop your career in IT Service Delivery Management?

You may be an experienced 2nd or 3rd level Service Desk Analyst with some involvement in service improvement or design projects. We have an opportunity for you to take the next step in your career!

We are seeking someone with experience in IT service delivery and service improvement projects to mediate with our projects and service delivery teams, aiming to develop ongoing improvements to the managed services we provide our Public Sector client.

You will engage with various teams to ensure that projects are on track for timely delivery and that the service continually improves, providing intelligent oversight for smooth transition through to implementation.

This hybrid role supports a great work-life balance, with most of your time based from home and only one or two visits to our office in Porton Down, near Salisbury, each week. Occasional office presence may be required for project support.

The successful applicant will need to complete vetting for SC Clearance before starting in the role.

What you'll be doing:

1. Overseeing multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth delivery and managing relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Acting as a gatekeeper to prevent issues before they arise.
3. Providing insights on project requirements with evidence and solutions to ensure effective service delivery.
4. Advising project teams on transition approaches and providing feedback to operations for alternative solutions.
5. Liaising with external third parties providing application and end-user services.
6. Interacting with client project teams and service managers to keep them updated.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in building and maintaining client relationships in IT service provision.
• A solid understanding of ITIL fundamentals.
• Strong, adaptable communication skills at all levels.

It would be great if you had:

• Experience in a similar Service Management/Design role.
• ITIL v3 Service Transition Manager Accreditation.
• Knowledge of the Public Sector.
• Existing SC clearance.
