Job summary

D.M.Keith Limited in Grimsby is looking for a Service Technician to join our Skoda Grimsby site. You will undertake both minor and major mechanical faults and return vehicles to manufacturer specifications. We offer a market-leading salary and bonus scheme, with full details discussed at interview.

Applicants should be NVQ Level 3 trained (or equivalent), have a full UK driving licence and your own tools, and ideally an MOT Tester qualification. Working hours are 8:30–5, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• MOT Tester preferred.
• Full UK driving licence and own tools.
• Experience in a busy volume franchised dealer environment.
• High Voltage certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Service Technician to come and join our team at our Skoda Grimsby site.

About You

Your duties will depend upon your experience and training but as a skilled Technician/Mechanic, you will be able to undertake both minor and major mechanical faults (including engine repairs) and return vehicles back to manufacturer specification and standards.

We are welcoming applications from Technicians who are NVQ level 3 trained or equivalent. Experience working within a busy volume franchised dealer environment is an advantage but not crucial if you currently work at an independent garage/dealer.

What will you need to succeed in the role:

• Drive, passion and enthusiasm to succeed.
  
• Demonstrate capability and confidence in using equipment within the workshop safely.
  
• At least NVQ level 3trained with work experience in a franchised dealer or independent garage.
  
• MOT Tester preferred.
  
• Experience in used car prep.
  
• High Voltage certification is desirable, but not expected

Working hours:

Working hours are 8.30-5, Monday to Friday covering 40 hours a week to meet business needs.

You will require a Full UK drivers’ licence and have your own tools.
