Jago Consultants seeks an MOT Service Technician in Chichester to join a busy service department at an established main dealership. You will service and repair cars/ vans, perform diagnostic tests, and conduct MOTs, reporting progress to the Service Manager and coordinating with parts and service reception.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 3+ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, have strong diagnostics skills, and possess a Full UK Driving Licence.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified to Level 3 or above in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Strong skills with general maintenance, repair and diagnostics/fault finding.
• A Full UK Driving Licence.

I am currently working with an established family run main dealership in Chichester, West Sussex and are seeking a MOT Service Technician to join their busy service department.

MOT Service Technician job responsibilities-

• Carrying out car and van servicing to manufacturer standards,
• Carrying out car and van repairs
• Carrying out diagnostic tests to vehicles, quickly identifying problems
• Carrying out MOT tests
• Liaising with and updating the Service Manager on work in progress
• Advising Service Receptionists about required repairs in detail
• Working with the Parts Team ensuring required parts are available
• Maintaining vehicle repair and service records
• To maintain your work area, tools and equipment to a high standard

The role of MOT Service Technician offers you the opportunity to work as part of a team, using your technical expertise to use and solve complex technical issues, whilst gaining new skills and exposure to new vehicle models, methods of working and full manufacturer training.
