Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking a Service Technician to join a franchised dealership. You'll service, maintain, diagnose and repair a range of modern vehicles to manufacturer standards, in a busy workshop.

The role offers an OTE up to £40,000 (DOE), full-time permanent hours, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with alternate Saturdays. Benefits include ongoing manufacturer training and a supportive workshop team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician / Vehicle Technician / Service Technician.
• Experience within a franchised dealership or professional workshop.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing vehicle repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
• Completing all relevant workshop documentation.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Working closely with the wider Service and Workshop teams.

THE ROLE
