Silcom Recruitment is assisting a well-established automotive business in Fareham to recruit an experienced Service Technician. The role focuses on servicing, diagnostics and vehicle repairs across a wide range of makes and models in a busy workshop.

You will need a driving licence and an NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, with prior workshop experience. The package offers a basic salary up to £30,000, Monday to Friday, with no weekends, and a professional, customer-focused environment.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Experience in a main dealership or independent workshop preferred.
• Servicing, maintenance and repairs to high standards.
• Ability to diagnose faults accurately and efficiently.

Mansioni

Job Description

The Role:

Here at Silcom Recruitment, we have a great client who is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their established team, based in Fareham.

Our client is a well-established automotive business with a busy workshop operation, offering servicing, diagnostics and vehicle repairs across a wide range of makes and models. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified technician looking to join a professional and customer-focused working environment.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Technician:

• Driving Licence (required).
• You will ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working within a main dealership or independent workshop environment is desirable.
• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify any additional maintenance or repair requirements.
• Experience working across a variety of vehicle makes and models would be advantageous.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
• A strong passion for the automotive industry, with a professional and customer-focused approach.

The Package:

• Up to £30,000 basic salary.
• Monday to Friday 08:00am – 17:30pm – No Weekends!
