Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a Permanent role in Bournemouth. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or Level 2 with at least 3 years of experience, and must own a well-stocked toolbox.

You will carry out servicing, health checks and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, fit brakes and major components, and use advanced diagnostic tools to identify faults. 45-hour weeks with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or Level 2 with at least 3 years' experience.
• Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, vehicle health checks and maintenance across diverse makes and models.
• Fit brakes, exhausts, batteries, clutches, cam belts, and suspension components.
• Use diagnostic technology to identify and fix electrical and mechanical faults.
• Perform light-to-major repairs to help vehicles pass DVSA MOT tests.

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years' experience, for the UK's leading vehicle rental specialists, working on a wide range of vehicles.

Vehicle Technician Requirements:
