Job summary

A Vehicle Technician role is available at Thetford for Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. You will review work on customers' vehicles, perform fast-fit and service tasks, and join a team focused on quality. Training is provided to help you achieve Level 3 qualifications while you work.

Shift hours are 08:30–17:30, Monday to Friday, with Saturday rota 08:30–16:00 and a day off in the week. A generous benefits package supports development and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician preferred; no formal qualifications required.
• Interest in Hybrid vehicles and ongoing training offered.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing work on customers' vehicles and ensuring quality of repairs.
• Perform light and full-service mechanical work and fast-fit duties.
• Replace and repair brakes, exhausts, car batteries, suspension parts as required.
• Operate wheel alignment machinery and interpret readings for precise adjustments.
• Carry out tyre diagnostics and fast-fit replacements across various makes.

Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician based at their retail centre in Thetford.

As a Vehicle Technician you would be responsible for reviewing work on customers vehicles, completing wide range of fast fit mechanical work and light and full-service work.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role. Our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location: Thetford

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

To be a Vehicle Technician you will need:

• - Valid UK driving licence – Essential
• - Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• - Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• - Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
