Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd in Rugby is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to service and repair passenger vehicles in a busy workshop.

You will carry out servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs, with training provided to achieve Level 3 and Hybrid Vehicle qualifications. A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required; hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm with Saturday rota.

Qualifications

• Hands-on vehicle servicing and repair experience is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair brakes, exhausts, batteries and suspension components.
• Complete tyre inspections, replacements and puncture repairs.
• Operate wheel alignment equipment and make accurate adjustments.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
• Work alongside other Vehicle Technicians to maintain workshop productivity.
• Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Car Technician or Fast Fit Technician to join a busy automotive service centre in Rugby. Applicants must have previous hands-on vehicle servicing and repair experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. A Level 3 qualification is not essential, as full training and qualifications will be provided.

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

Salary: Up to £35,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus

OTE: Up to £38,600 (including realistic £3,600 bonus)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm. Saturdays 8:30am – 4:00pm on a rota, with a day off during the week.
