JOB DESCRIPTION:

Allocated to our Packaging Technologies business, we are looking for a highly motivated and proactive team member in the role of Service Technician to support our sales team in the UK by engaging directly with our customers.

Main responsibilities:

• Checking pumps and equipment at customers' sites to ensure our applications are running smoothly.
• Measuring agreed parameters to optimize dosing rates.
• Performing shade matching as agreed.
• Organizing customer orders in a timely manner.
• Maintaining contact with dedicated customer contacts.
• Maintaining existing sales and identifying new business opportunities.
• Aligning actions with the Sales Manager to have a comprehensive overview and to prepare stock allocation.

This is a permanent, full-time position based at a home office, preferably located in the north of England, with travel within the UK included.

Your profile:

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have technical education in process or chemical engineering.
• Have experience in sales (preferably within the paper industry).
• Can communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Enjoy teamwork and collaboration.
• Have a strong attention to detail.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Possess a valid driving license (mandatory).

Additionally, you are a proactive team player with a strong eagerness to develop the business. You are responsible for your own area, capable of working towards deadlines, very customer-oriented, and willing to travel and visit customers across the UK.
