Job description

Do you have a background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics? Then this could be the opportunity for you!

Region: NCE > SBU NCE Service > England South East

The Service department is responsible for the service and maintenance of wind farms within the UK and Ireland. The department fosters an open and informal culture where teamwork and good communication are key to our success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry as part of a highly motivated team.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing detailed knowledge of our wind turbines to perform daily maintenance and other field service tasks.
  2. Working to the highest safety and environmental standards while ensuring service targets are met; collaborating with a team of technicians across the region.
  3. Carrying out periodic service inspections according to Vestas specifications.
  4. Component replacement (electrical and mechanical) and troubleshooting.
  5. Coordinating with field technicians, supervisors, and office-based staff.
Qualifications

Applicants should have a proven background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics within a similar industry, with:

  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • The ability to work at heights and in adverse weather conditions.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • Previous accreditation as an AT/CT under WTSR is advantageous.
