Your role

Working within our Sainsbury’s Distribution Centre, the Service Technician will perform maintenance duties to ensure productivity, equipment availability, health & safety compliance, and quality. Your tasks include:

• Ensuring optimal condition of installations
• Performing malfunction repairs, maintenance, and preventive tasks in collaboration with colleagues
• Resolving mechanical, electrical, and control technical faults

What We Expect From You

You will contribute to customer satisfaction by maintaining the continuity of customer processes. We expect you to be enthusiastic, proactive, and flexible. Requirements include:

• City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or above in mechanical/electrical maintenance
• Willingness to work shifts including nights
• Experience with maintenance planning

Note: Due to the nature of the business, a DBS check is required.

Nice to Have

• Experience in FMCG manufacturing or automated environments
• Experience in training or coaching
