Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an experienced Compressed Air Field Service Engineer to cover the south-east England region from our Ashford office. You will diagnose and repair compressed air systems, carry out preventive maintenance, and ensure work is completed with customer approval.

A field-based role with travel and occasional overnight stays is expected. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in compressed air, is PC literate, and holds a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the compressed air industry.
• PC literate and able to operate standard maintenance software.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Attend on-site to perform breakdown repairs on compressed air equipment.
• Attend on-site to perform preventative maintenance on compressed air equipment.
• Maintain clear verbal and written communications with customers and colleagues.
• Liaise with technical or office-based personnel to confirm job requirements and approvals.

The opportunity has arisen to join the Ingersoll Rand Family. We are now looking for an experienced Compressed Air Field Service Engineer to join the team. Responsible for Maintenance, Breakdowns & Commissioning on all makes of Compressed air equipment. The role will mainly cover the south-east England however some further travel and overnight stays may be required. The ideal candidate will have experience in all types of compressed air technologies.,

• To attend the customer's site to perform breakdown repairs on all compressed air generating equipment.
• To attend the customer's site to perform preventative maintenance on all compressed air generating equipment.
• Maintain verbal and written communications with customers and others as seen necessary in a professional manner
• Liaise with the technical or office-based personnel to achieve a clear understanding of specific job requirements as necessary
• Liaise with customers to ensure that any work is done with their approval
• Operate in accordance with company EHS guidelines, 25 days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

  Minimum HNC level in an Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation or Electromechanical discipline
• Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical systems
• Extensive product knowledge within the compressed air industry

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

• Field based role, operating out of our Ashford Office
• Must be willing to travel extensively in the south-east region with overnight stays as required
