Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Warehouse/ Service Support Operative in our Birmingham branch. You will support the Service Manager to run a safe, efficient warehouse and collaborate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours) with potential for overtime and a higher salary. Starting salary is £26,655 per year, with expected earnings up to £27,500 including bonus schemes and relocation support where applicable.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Previous experience working within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Organised, self-motivated and reliable.
• Clear and confident communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to use own initiative and have a positive ‘can do' attitude.
• DBS check may be required depending on the role you have applied for.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer stocks for route delivery.
• Assist drivers with loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Cover Service Driver routes when required.
• Work closely with drivers and management to ensure customer stocks are prepared for delivery.
• Complete daily tasks such as packing, sorting and segregation of mats, rolls, sanitary bins, nappy bins and other customer stocks.
• Organise the work area to ensure the service centre is efficient and effective.
• Focus on meeting customer service expectations.

The Warehouse/Service Support Operative Role

In this role, you will support the Service Manager to ensure the service in our Warehouse runs smoothly. Based in the Birmingham branch, you will be working with your colleagues to create an efficient and safe environment throughout the facility. Key responsibilities include:

Requirements
