Job summary

Rentokil Initial are seeking a Service Support Operative at the Edinburgh branch to support the Service Manager and ensure the warehouse runs smoothly. Based at Edinburgh, you will work with colleagues to maintain an efficient and safe environment throughout the facility.In this role you will prepare stock for route delivery, assist drivers with loading/unloading, and coordinate with management to meet customer needs. Training is provided and overtime may increase earnings.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Organised, self-motivated and reliable.
• Demonstrate clear and confident communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to use own initiative and have a positive 'can do' attitude.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.

Responsibilities

• Preparing customer stock for route delivery, ensuring everything is ready to go.
• Assisting our drivers with loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Working closely with drivers and management to meet customer needs.
• Packing, sorting and segregating mats, rolls, sanitary bins, nappy bins and other customer items.
• Maintain an orderly work area to ensure smooth Service Centre operations.
• Always aiming to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
