Job summary

Homes2Inspire are seeking a full-time, permanent Service Support Co-ordinator to assist our care leavers team in Northampton, NN1. You will be the first point of contact for young people, offering on-site guidance and signposting to other key workers or agencies.

The role requires empathy, strong communication, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in young people’s lives. The service operates 24/7 with 12-hour shifts and weekends on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide a full administrative service to support the team and audit requirements.
  • Maintain effective work systems and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Keep stocks of forms and documentation to be ready when needed.
  • Collate, produce and distribute statistics and reports for updates.
  • Facilitate key work sessions with young people to support pathways and care plans.
  • Ensure safety and wellbeing of young people and conduct daily checks.
  • Support young people in practical tasks, hygiene, day-to-day chores and meals.
  • Work flexibly to meet needs and promote positive outcomes.
  • Monitor safety and safeguard wellbeing of those in care.
  • Monitor CCTV and visitors entering the building.

Salary: £27,976 - £28,650 per annum (£13.45 – £13.77 per hour)

Vacancy:

We are looking for a full time, permanent Service Support Co-ordinator to work with our care leavers team in Northampton, NN1, which provide supported accommodation services for young people aged between 17 – 21.

As a Service Support Co-ordinator, you will provide onsite support for young people who live in our service, being the first port of call for young people for immediate advice, guidance and signposting to other key workers or agencies.

Hours of work / shifts:

The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Staff will be required to work 12 hour shifts from:

0800 – 2000

2000 – 0800

You will work every other weekend and work 3 days one week and 4 days on another week.

The Role:

As a Service Support Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide a full administrative service so that the needs of the functional/departmental team are met.
  • Maintain effective work systems, ensuring that all correspondence and documentation is dealt with in a professional manner that meets audit requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive stocks of all forms and documentation required by the function/department so that it is available when required.
  • Collate, produce and distribute regular and ad-hoc statistics and reports so that individuals and departments receive accurate up to date information.
  • To facilitate key work session with young people to achieve required outcomes against their pathway/ care plan.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people based at provision, carrying out daily health and safety checks and monitoring visitors.
  • Work directly with the young people in supporting them to gain the skills to carry out practical tasks, ensuring young people take responsibility for hygiene, day to day chores and preparing meals.
  • Be flexible within your work patterns to meet the need and support positive outcomes.
  • Ensure the protection and safeguard the wellbeing of the young people in our care.
  • Monitor CCTV and visitors coming into the building
