Job summary

Gallagher in Wakefield is seeking a Service and Renewals Advisor to support customers with their insurance renewals, explain cover options, and maintain strong relationships with clients.

You'll deliver quotations, gather information during calls, and ensure a smooth, positive customer experience while working within a friendly, agile team. Training is provided to build knowledge and confidence in risk management.

Qualifications

• No previous insurance experience required
• Ability to explain complex language in simple terms, either in writing and/or over the phone
• Attention to detail because you'll need to accurately review and assess documentation
• Empathy and the ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with customers
• Customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers throughout
• Computer literate

Responsibilities

• Support customers with their insurance renewals, providing clear guidance and ensuring they have the right level of cover for their needs.
• Create and process renewal quotations, discussing policy options and any changes to cover while always putting the customer's interests first.
• Make and answer calls from customers and clients to gather information, provide updates, and help resolve any questions or concerns.
• Deliver a smooth and positive customer experience, leaving customers feeling valued and confident in our products and service.
• Build strong relationships with customers, encouraging retention through excellent service and proactive support.
• Balance multiple tasks at the same time, using a range of systems while working as part of a supportive, friendly, and agile team.

Salary: £27,976
Hours:40 hours per week, Monday – Friday + 1 Saturday (once every 3 weeks)
