Job description

A new opportunity has arisen for aService Receptionistto join our team at our site inNewton Abbot.

Salary:£12.75 per hour

Hours:Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch 12:30pm to 1:30pm (unpaid).

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as first point of contact for visitors to the dealership.
• Ensure all telephone calls are answered in a timely and professional manner.
• Screen and transfer all calls.
• Ensure the reception area is well presented at all times.
• Processing start and closing order numbers with customers and fleet companies.
• Vehicle planning and use of DAF check system and company MIS.
• Preparation of estimates.

What we need:

• Previous reception experience combined with a professional telephone manner.
• Able to always remain calm and courteous.
• Confident and outgoing.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good organisational skills.
• Able to work on own initiative.
• Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
