Job description

Are you IP qualified or part way through your IP training? Are you thinking about starting your training to be IP qualified?

We have exciting opportunities for service-driven Pharmacists to join our teams and have a major impact on the delivery of key services, including prescribing and vaccination services (such as HPV, Chicken Pox, Travel Vaccination), supporting the wider business with remote service opportunities and much more.

This is a fantastic role that will enable Pharmacists to develop their professional skills and operate in a clinical, and service-led environment.

About the role

As a Pharmacist with us, you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care. It’s more than dispensing medicine; it’s listening and providing your expert advice and reassurance. Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice
  2. Being accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
  3. Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
  4. Conducting continual review through audit, observations, and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety
  5. Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services
What you’ll need to have

To succeed in this role, you should have a professional, caring character and a genuine desire to help us improve. You will also need:

  • Registration with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
  • High levels of professional expertise and respect from stakeholders, peers, patients, and external professionals
  • A passion for community pharmacy and providing excellent care
  • A collaborative, team-centered approach
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and services
  • Strong communication skills to meet varied customer and patient needs
