We’re looking for an experienced Prescribing Pharmacist to join Phlo in a full-time remote position.

You will be joining a recently-established clinical services team, providing scope to influence our prescribing strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with the Chief Pharmacist, Superintendent Pharmacist, Medical Director, and CQC Registered Manager, as well as with our tech and marketing teams.

As a dynamic digital pharmacy, interest in this space and some experience in clinical governance are desirable. This is a full-time, permanent role mainly remote, with occasional in-person sessions in London or Manchester (travel paid). The role primarily involves weekday work with some weekend rota shifts as needed.

We are not seeking prescribers who are engaged in a portfolio career across multiple providers.

The Job

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in:

1. Providing prescribing services to patients, following agreed protocols and clinical pathways.
2. Prioritising, organising, and managing your workload to maintain quality.
3. Collaborating with the Medical Director to develop clinical pathways.
4. Prescribing and reviewing medications for therapeutic effectiveness, aligned with patient needs, evidence-based practice, and company protocols within your scope.
5. Supporting patient adherence and compliance with prescribed treatments.
6. Using sensitive communication styles to ensure patients are fully informed.
7. Working within your competence and professional code of conduct regulated by the GPhC.
8. Liaising with the governance team for clinical governance meetings.
9. Influencing prescribing strategies and ways of working as the team grows.

Requirements

The Person

Ideally, candidates will have:

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
• Advanced Clinical Practitioner MSc/PGDip (preferable)
• The ability to work flexibly, efficiently, and autonomously while maintaining high service quality.
• An interest in supporting a high-growth digital pharmacy.
