Job summary

Sécheron Hasler Group is seeking a Service Operator in Manchester to support testing, repair and servicing of safety-critical rail equipment. You will set up test gear, record data, and assist in warehouse and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Setting up test equipment and preparing products for testing and repair.
• Collecting and recording incoming product and repair data on electronic job cards.
• Carrying out routine servicing of safety-critical rail equipment using hand tools and diagnostic software.
• Supporting the overhaul and repair of electro-mechanical equipment to high quality standards.
• Carrying out routine testing using diagnostic and test software.
• Completing repair, test and service documentation accurately and to a high standard.
• Supporting general warehouse activities.
• Carrying out basic administrative tasks related to the service and repair process.
• Following established processes, quality standards and Health & Safety procedures.
• Contributing to continuous improvement by suggesting process improvements.

Main Tasks
