Job summary

Seriously Connected Limited is seeking a Service Manager to lead our packaging machinery service operation in the South West of the UK. You will combine people leadership with technical problem solving to shape service delivery and drive profitability.

You’ll oversee installations, commissioning and aftercare, while developing the team and ensuring a high standard of customer service for food manufacturers reliant on reliable equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field service, engineering support or commissioning teams within machinery or industrial equipment.
• Packaging or food processing industry experience is advantageous.
• Ability to support engineers, take ownership of customer issues and monitor service performance and profitability.

I’m recruiting a Service Manager for an established machinery business serving the UK food manufacturing sector.

What you’ll bring

• You’ll have experience leading field service, engineering support or commissioning teams within machinery or industrial equipment.
• Food processing or packaging experience would be useful, but I’m also interested in people from other equipment sectors who understand demanding production environments.
• You’ll be comfortable supporting engineers, taking ownership of customer issues and keeping an eye on service performance and profitability.

The role is based South West, so you’ll need to be within practical travelling distance or open to relocating.
