Job summary

Seriously Connected Limited is partnering with one of Europe’s most respected automation manufacturers to recruit a UK field-based service engineer. The role focuses on packaging machinery and high-speed automation, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and customer interaction.

You’ll work directly with customers, receive a company vehicle, and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training. Ideally located around the M62 Corridor or Central UK, you’ll join a team trusted to support

Qualifications

• Experience with packaging machinery
• Robotics experience
• PLC controlled automation experience
• Customer facing service work experience

Responsibilities

• Provide field-based service support across the UK
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues for packaging lines
• Collaborate with customers to ensure minimal downtime and knowledge transfer

Job description

Most service engineer adverts sound exactly the same.

This one doesn’t.

If you’re the sort of engineer who enjoys solving problems properly rather than simply getting machines running again, we’ll probably have a good conversation.

Ideally you’ll have experience of:

Whether you’ve worked on case packers, cartoners, pick & place robotics or other high-speed automation isn’t important.
