Qualifications

• Substantial experience in health & social care.
• Supervisory/management experience within a care environment.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Level 5 in Health & Social Care or working towards.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a care team to deliver consistently high standards of care and support.
• Develop personalised care plans based on individual needs and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with local and national standards and quality assurance processes.
• Assist with staffing rotas to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Provide leadership and development support to staff and maintain a positive team culture.
• Participate in an on-call rota and assist with emergency operational cover.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement with senior management.
• Promote dignity, respect and person-centred practice.
