This is an opportunity to lead and develop services that help people experiencing homelessness, housing instability and financial hardship move towards safer, more secure lives.
You will provide day-to-day leadership to teams delivering homelessness prevention, home energy advice and housing support services. You will ensure services are safe, effective, person-centred and responsive to local need, while meeting funding, regulatory and organisational requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
You will not routinely hold a caseload but will provide guidance and support when complex situations arise.
You will have experience managing staff, volunteers or services within homelessness, housing, advice, community support or a related setting.
You will also bring:
Knowledge of homelessness legislation, housing options, tenancy sustainment or funded service delivery would be an advantage.
You will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle, or another reliable means of travelling across Charnwood and Leicestershire. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
