Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the Business Support service across Children’s Services. This pivotal role focuses on delivering efficient, customer‑focussed support to frontline practitioners and managers, enabling better outcomes for children and families.

You will manage a large workforce, drive performance, budget management and continuous improvement, and work with senior leaders and partner agencies to modernise services through data

Formación

• Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) or substantial management experience.
• Experience leading business support in a large, complex organisation.
• Ability to manage resources and budgets within financial limits.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience in performance management and quality assurance.
